Glastonbury Greatness.

I turned 29 and Sam and I decided to take a adventure and head to the worthiest farm to see what life is like there without the hustle and bustle of festival life. The weekend was amazing, not only did the sun come out, the campsite was incredible cute and Worthy Farm was as blissful as ever. We camped in Whooton 2.5 mile out of Pilton, from there we walked into the festival sight and with our oldskool maps in hand we found the entrance to the festival site. As we walked in we recognised the entrance as the coach parking and reminicised of rain and waiting in 2011, then the coach journey home lots sleeping festival goers and memories of another great weekend. We spent our time, walking around, sitting in front of the pyramid stage with cider in hand and working out the different fields that held corn and crops rather then wonky adults and excited children. As we made our way to the stone circle we cam across the green fields pirate boat, excitement built and i climbed aboard. The view of the pyramid stage in the background was amazing, so clear and such a different view to the one i was used to. We arrived at the stone circle and enjoyed the sunshine and relaxation, to be at the stones without thousands of people and hundreds of flares was a strange experience, it was relaxing and lovely and not the usual manicness i tend to feel when arriving there through the Glastonbury nights.

The farm still held the same feelings of excitment, merriment and warm happiness inside, it was so great to see it in its natural enviroment and the farm living and growing, normally when i leave i see such choas and ruined land and feel it must take years to repair but from what i see this weekend the crops grow, the grass is green and the cows have the best land to graize on.

Once again Glastonbury great times, roll on 2013.

Newcastle to Berlin in 28 day

Home <3 Home. back to Newcastle, we went to finalise wedding plans, food, flowers, venue. It’s all so exciting, arrived at my mum’s to find an array of deliveries waiting for us, we both agreed the most important part for us is that the day reprensent’s who we are, in that respect removing the traditional ‘expected’ aspect of the wedding and it becoming a celebration of our love and what our love means to us.
We have decided to incoperate extra’s to the day allowing us to share what makes us smile and what we enjoy in our relationship.
Besitival cancelled. India booked - we decided a New Year trip to India would be nice. excited muchly, were planning to travel from Delhi to Mumbai over 16 days. adventure on.

Ventured off for a little trip to Berlin which was ever so needed, we had the most amazing time venturing around, taking in the sights and learning the amazing history Berlin holds. The most amazing day was renting bikes and cyclying from North Berlin to East Berlin and following the trail of the wall, really informative day and an excellent way to see Berlin.
Best bits. oldschool black and white photobooths, cupcake shop, bikes, river spree, watch tower finding, beauty of Berlin.

Lastly the chickens are still not laying, this is sad but the sneaky fox is still about, we fear he may be scaring them and stopping them laying, boo.

There becoming more confident though :-)

Burning windmills and troublesome foxes.

Shambala. Now thats a festival - after a few weeks of up’s and downs and hard decisions we decided that Shambala would be our last festival this Summer and wow what a way to end the festival circuit. Last minute ticket buying, quick costume of fantastic foxes and we were ready to go.
The festival is really like no other - the intensity of Glastonbury is unbearable at times and this was the kind of festival that i imagine Glastonbury was like back in the early day’s. Lots of exploring, amazing smaller bands and a forest that amazed me, positively perfect vibes all weekend (well until Samuel broke the tent :-)

With the thought of foxes in mind we have discovered a fiesty fox living in our garden, at first it was interested in the chickens, now it seems it just snoozes next to them. I have decided its a kit and lost its Muma - it wants to keep away from my chickens though - still no eggs, humph.

Newcastle time tomorrow - off to the barn for more preparation and measuring for the wedding then the florists - been collecting jam jars and something that has been fallen from tree’s at this time of year.

Sunday my beautiful longest friend Miss Andrea Trainer is marrying Mr Gary Clewes - its gonna be a special day Langley Castle.
